I just got my Retired PTAC card after medically retiring some years ago after checking with pension depot if I was entitled to one
Has anyone found any hotels or chains that that give any discounts?

Are you a member of Repta (look them up on Google)? It's £4 per annum and they offer loads of discounts for active and retired staff.

What does PTAC stand for?

Privilege Travel Authority Card... TfL/LUL staff travel concession that gives discount on National Rail services in a similar way to Rail Staff. PTACs are only available to staff working for LU prior to 1996.

PTACs are only available to staff working for LU prior to 1996.

They are also available for dependent children of active staff who joined after this date, but are restricted to offering travel discounts on London Underground, DLR and London Overground only.
