Both my retired TfL staff PTAC and my wife's retired partner PTAC need renewing at the end of the month - do I need to do anything?


The TfL Staff travel web-page is not particularly helpful.

PRIV is the discount for railway staff. Privilege Travel. PTAC is TfL's terminology for the same thing

A (Retired staff) Privilege Ticket Authority Card ("PTAC") gives 75% discount on equivalent pay as you go fares on Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail and National Rail services for leisure travel only.

You can normally only apply for a "PTAC" if you were formerly in service with London Transport (excluding staff employed by London Buses), London Regional Transport, or Docklands Light Railway before 1 April 1996, and are now aged 50+.
