Priv & Network railcard to Stansted

I have both the above cards plus a Goahead TOC pass & non protected Priv. On Thursday myself and a friend are going to Stansted- can I buy myself a Brixton-Stansted RTN Priv & use my still valid Network railcard to get them a 1/3 off their fare as they are travelling with me? Thanks for any help.

If I recall the T&Cs neither permit nor prohibit it, but you might be unlucky and find an awkward RPI.

I did have a read too and agree the situation was unclear.

It could be argued that the simplest way to prevent it being an issue is to have one of the people with Railcard tickets show the Railcard rather than you. However, as the Railcard is not transferrable (never understood why not given that it has no photocard, so this clearly isn't *that* big an issue), this is fraud and if caught you would likely be prosecuted, so is not to be recommended.

As you have a Priv I guess you're staff, so all the more reason not to use this approach as you could well get disciplined or even sacked, as well as being prosecuted.
