is it possible, and allowed for someone to post instructions on how to offer a TOD on here?
On TTK (avanti machines)

- Input origin and destination as normal
- Search for ticket as normal
- Select ticket as normal
- On final screen before payment select ‘ToD’ button (normally you’d select ‘PRT’ here, but this button doesn’t even exist for cross-London flows)!
- Enter a name and address (doesn’t have to be real)
- Select collection station (any, but the ToD ticket will issue an aztec code that will open barriers at selected station to allow for access to TVMs)
- Continue to payment as normal
- Print ToD ticket on PRT stock like a normal ticket

Job done and don’t think I’ve missed any steps

The upstream industry system needs a postcode and, in theory, allows staff to look up bookings by postcode in order to print them.

I assume this comes from the days where, if you didn't have the original payment card, this could be used in combination with some photo ID(?) or proof of address to print the tickets at a ticket office.

Not as useful now, though!
