Already got a few lined up, Isle Of Wight 18/07 (still waiting for rail tickets to be available) staying the weekend in Portsmouth; and Edinburgh 20/06 where I'll base myself in Carlisle and travel up on the day. Later on Brighton, 01/07 probably via Hove to avoid the crush. A bit nearer home is Happy Valley 11/07, again by train.
But the very first outing will be the Rainbow Train, Sunday 19th April, which should be a steam train up the Rossendale line from Bury. Done that before, great fun! It's an one-off part of Bury Pride.
When I travel Carlisle > Edinburgh if it's a 6-car 3 x 3 TPE I'll need to know which part the catering's in before I buy my advance ticket and choose a seat, if anyone can help?
