Rather than keep going back to the same ones I've got into the habit of visiting (collecting??!) up and down the country rather like footy fans "collect" football grounds! On my list this year is (* are the "new" ones)

Inverness/Highland* and/or Orkney*
My local ones in Bury + Bolton
York*
Leeds*
Channel Islands in Jersey (rotates with Guernsey)
Wigan*
Huddersfield/Kirklees

Really want to try Shetland but so darned difficult/expensive to get to by air and I don't fancy the ferry!!

Does anyone have a particular favourite whether it's their local one or not??

Happy Valley Pride in Hebden Bridge. Easily done as a day trip from Bolton.

Thanks, that sounds a fun day out! One in Skipton would be good as I understand it's quite a buzzing little town and deserves a visit anyway!

The Skipton Pride has started since I moved from there to Hebden Bridge nearly thirteen years ago, but I'm told by friends who still live there that it's a very enjoyable event....and - as you rightly say - Skipton is a buzzing town anyway.

Bristol Pride is an old school march as much as it is a parade. It attracts some surprisingly big musical acts too.

All this talk of visiting other Prides and I've not even ticked Glasgow off my list. Really need to rectify that this year if possible. Edinburgh & Manchester I'd also like to attend at some point.

Swansea and Cardiff are both fun, a parade though the city and then a concert/party

Leeds is worth a visit I’d say - I’ve been a couple of times and the photos are from 2024. The parade itself lasts the better part of an hour and then there’s a ‘Pride Village’ (best way to describe it) with music and such where the parade ends
