Preston to Newquay Single

Hello, stumbled across this (relatively) cheap fare for an anytime single to Newquay, valid via Hereford. Supposedly it’s valid for two days, does this mean a break of journey is allowed (Staying in a hotel mid-way) overnight? If only you went in 2008 or during the odd period where HST's were hired in the summer - you'd have only had to cope with a small train at least from Preston to Manchester for what 45 minutes or around an hour then a 7 - 9-coach HST for the journey of around 7 hours from Manchester to Newquay !

Well see last year I went to Birmingham and took the summer Saturday voyager (Which originated from Manchester) right the way down, wasn’t too bad, but a hired ECML HST would’ve been far more interesting! Cheers for the responses though folks
