I can't see any such ticket. Tickets should be issued to Manchester Stations surely?

In any case the answer would be yes.

This sounds like an issuing error, as @yorkie says there are no such walk-up tickets (they are all Manchester Stations), though there do seem to be some Advances.

What fare was charged?
