Preston to Crewe SVH

Two questions;
1) is this valid for BOJ?
2) looking at the Routeing Guide leads me to believe this is valid Preston-Bolton-Wigan-Warrington-Manchester-Crewe. Am I correct in thinking this? I don't think I'll be doing that I'm just wondering if I understood the RG correctly (I'll probably do Preston-Bolton-Manchester-Crewe).

Yes, BoJ is permitted. Don't know about routeing, easiest way to check is to enter it into NRE and see if it'll give you that route at that fare.

Unsurprisingly, with that many via points NRE decided to ignore them all and only offer the direct route...

I've got it to display via Manchester so that'll do for me, I'll go that way.
