Preston (Lancs) -> Glasgow Central/Glasgow Queen Street

According to BR Fares, there should be a £33.00 Off Peak Day Return fare available between Preston and Glasgow. "Route VirginWestCoast".

However, this fare didn't actually seem to be available from the TVM's or at the Booking Office at Preston station . Only Off Peak Day Return fares offered were "Route TPE" at £35.00 and "Route via Carlisle" at £40.80. Thoughts anyone?

As VWC set the fares, was it a temporary fare that has been withdrawn now? Sometimes brfares gets out of date.
