Preserved diesel cab rides

Is it possible on a heritage railway to pay for a cab ride in a diesel locomotive. I know it is possible to have a driving experience, but I was thinking more about a shorter and cheaper session. ?

I would have thought £50 would be a reasonable price for the cab ride on the Great Central considering a valid gala ticket is also required, and not £75?

They were available this year and last year at the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway Diesel Gala. £28 for a one way ride at the 2026 gala (on top of the regular Gala ticket).

They are offering them for a 1hr round trip on their normal diesel days for £59 (including day rover), however it seems they've already sold out!
