Evening Gents,
I am trying to find a railway or society who would like to take on our Yamaha engined P-Way trolley for their railway or venture. Due to moving away with other railway commitments my warehouse has been re-let and she is the last thing left to clear.
Before we go into the item, the terms would be simple - indefinite loan to the group at zero cost, and we will also provide a small amount of moneys as and when is needed to keep her running and possibly also help finance a re-motoring project if the group decided to take such a task on.

The principle difference between "Amelie" and most other P-Way trolleys is that (since the headwork was done) she has around 105bhp and a 5 speed sequential box. She is on Timken sealed-units all the way around, has a stout set of cotton-weave brakes on the front wheelsets and a hydraulic braking system on the rear.
She is capable of GPS verified runs of 51.8mph now but I appreciate this wouldn't be in the interests of most preserved lines hence why we will be able to help finance switching the engine with something more suitable, perhaps a Lister-Petter or similar, a nice 2-stroke diesel?
The unit packs down into four - the power pack being a self contained and self-sufficient unit. The Permaquip itself splits as per usual. The trolley has 12v electrics, a cigar lighter, mounts for Satnav and also has ex-37 twin-tone air horns. She has 12v running lights and benefits from a very expensive Odyssey sealed gel battery.
The unit requires a very small repair to a piece of threaded rod on the gear-linkage, otherwise she's ready to roll.
If you know of anybody, anywhere who would like to take on such an opportunity please get in touch. We have spent thousands on her and she has proved to be a most reliable, and most of all incredibly speedy little trolley with ample storage space onboard for tools, seating for three and a rear tow-hitch for towing her sister trolley behind.
Please note we only have two weeks to vacate the current storage unit. I have a space I can store her in an emergency but to be honest it could end up going to the trainyard in the sky if it comes to that...
