Preparing for ultra sonics and lubrication networkrail interview

Hi
ive got a job interview for networkrail for a ultra sonic and lubrication job but wanted to read up before hand.
Ive been told to read 0/54 which as i believe something to do with crossing and inspections.
Do anyone know where i can get a copy of this

Hi mate, the 054 standard relates to cast crossings. This isn't actually related to ultrasonic testing as cast crossings cannot be ultrasonically tested. It may be a case of the ultrasonic teams carry out the SO54 inspections in the area you have applied for the job but they do not where I work.

I have just seen your other post. The ultrasonic teams, lubrication teams, welders and grinders all come under the RME - rail management engineer. If you have been told to read up on SO54 it sounds like you will be working with the welding and grinding teams. I am sure a google search will bring something up although I wouldn't worry to much as you will not be questioned on standards in an interview and will get all the required training depending what team you slot in to.
