Tranent to Haddington (ELCH) - Semi Flexible Rural Travel

Service withdrawn from Friday 4th April 2025​

Services withdrawn as the ELC contract was not awarded due to very low passenger use

Elphinstone to Prestonpans

Revised Timetable and Route from 7th April 2025​

Minor timetable changes with most journeys being extended down Ayres Wynd and Prestonpans High St to Lidl to partly replace the lost connection following the withdrawal of Lothian Buses 26 Service.
In addition the first journey will serve Gifford and East Saltoun before Pencaitland to allow those residents a connection to buses in Tranent or a train at Prestonpans. The last journey, 1905 from Prestonpans Station, will now serve Elphinstone, Pencaitland, East Saltoun and Gifford before returning to Haddington.

Haddington to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary​

Revised Timetable and Route from 7th April 2025​

Timetable and route changes. The service will no longer serve Fort Kinnaird and all journeys will follow the current 111A route with the exception of using Olivebank Road, Clayknowes Road and Whitehill Farm Road instead of Eskview Terrace
All ‘short’ weekday journeys will be withdrawn along with the 2015 journey from the ERI due to very low passenger use.

Elphinstone to Fort Kinnaird​

Service withdrawn from Saturday 5th April 2025​

Service rerouted and renumbered 115. This is due to the new East Coast Buses X4 service replicating the vast majority of the route and running a few minutes ahead.
This will avoid duplication of routes and allow us to operate the new Service 115.

Prestonpans to Macmerry

NEW Service from Monday 8th April 2025​

A new service running from Prestonpans High St to Macmerry via Ayres Wynd, The Mercatgait Cente, Blindwells and Tranent High St to partly replace the lost connection following the withdrawal of Lothian Buses 26 Service.
The service will interwork with Service110 to provide a half hourly service between Prestonpans High St and Tranent and will operate Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1700 initially and will be partly funded by East Lothian Council.

Gullane Circle

Revised Timetable and Route from 7th April 2025​

Will now operate a full return service Monday to Saturday between Haddington and North Berwick, still serving Aberlady, Gullane and Dirleton providing a quick, 32 minutes, direct connection between the two towns

On the same date reluctantly due to continually increasing operating costs, and a further reduction in reimbursement from Transport Scotland, we will be increasing all of our adult single fares by £0.20 from the above date.
Updated fare tables will be available on the appropriate service pages soon
Our fares will still offer the best value in East Lothian being no more expensive than other bus operators and, in many cases, less expensive.​
