All three were taken to the Royal Children's Hospital in a serious condition after the accident on 13 October.

Police said they believed a trailer had become detached from a Mitsubishi Outlander.

so it wasn't a pram crash, but an incompetently operated road vehicle that caused injuries. Once again the active travel (low carbon-footprint) travellers come off worst but the headline doesn't reflect that.

I understand this topic has repeatedly been raised with the BBC in response to various stories, but nothing has changed.

Includes mention of driver, instead of implying a ‘pram’ crashed on its own

On a different thread, this is why I'm forever on at people towing trailers to use a breakaway cable, and to secure it to the towing vehicle chassis rather than just looped over the towbar.

I don't work in a professional towing environment so maybe it's a symptom of every man and his dog being able to tow a trailer with B+E with no training, but I'm amazed how often I see family members or volunteers I know either not using a cable at all, or using it in a way which just doesn't make sense.

Indeed one of my hobby horses. Another is "Camper Vans" being legally driven (with the correct driving licence entitlement) but with a lack of spatial awareness placing pedestrians and other road users at risk.

However, calling it a ‘pram crash’ may have the result that more people will click on the item than if it just had a mundane title. A title worm may then plant itself in the minds of some of them so that next time they use a trailer they may take a little more care as to how they set up the tow.

I suspect a SUV driver wouldn't give it a second glance or thought - let alone click on it!

The problem with "driver did something" is that it suggests they got out of their vehicle and committed the crime on foot. To be totally clear that we're talking about dangerous use of a vehicle, it would have to be something like "driver crashes trailer into pram".
