Hi i'm currently trying to find the cheapest possible way of doing Poynton- Liskeard on Off Peak Returns with Railcard in August

A Saver return is £82.15 (Railcard)

Really need some assistance from a Ticketing Expert to get it down further.

Note: I wouldn't be travelling back same day

I am prepared to take full advantage of the routing guide

The best I have found is to split at Macclesfield, Wolverhampton, Cheltenham, Bristol and Exeter

Total £67
...
or Macclesfield, Wolverhampton, Cheltenham, Bristol and Totnes

Total £65.70

How can you split at Macclesfield when there isn't an SOR/SVR fare from Poynton to Macc? ;)

I suppose I shouldn't have done that, he did specifically ask for off-peak returns!

Ok going on from the solutions people have found for me, I have managed to get the cost down to £63 by removing Bristol from the £65 one above

Another way if you do not mind travelling via Worcester.

Poynton - Stafford £11-60
Stafford - Worcester 10-25

total 21-85
Then if you are staying for less than 7 days a
3 in 7 day Freedom of SW Rover £46-50 (with railcard
total 68.35 But you have a free day of travel left in the FSW Rover area which covers Portsmouth - Cardiff & Worcester to Cornwall and all between
see map
http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/manag...ab63191d753a5b/areaMap/FreedomOfSouthWest.jpg
If you are staying for less than 15 days
then use a 8 in 15 FSW Rover £62-70
plus 21-85 totals 84-55
BUT includes 6 days of travel inthe region above for an extra £22 above the point to point fares.

An alternative would be to travel to Cheltenham instead of Worcester (but that is more expensive)
