Thanks to all who voted, I missed out last year by one vote so I'm extra happy to have won this year although I thought the other shot was better than mine.;)

A bit of a lucky shot perhaps, it wasn't planned but I was wandering down the platform at Centraal as the sun was going down and saw a shot in my head so I got the camera out and clicked.

Oh well, mine came second, it's the taking part that counts! ;)

Shame because I put quite a lot of effort into that shot! Couple of days off work, recce'd a few locations the day before, stayed overnight in a B+B then followed the sun! The train was about 15 mins late which was good as it would have been full cloud otherwise. On the down side it 'shut off' just before entering the shot, thus ensuring no steam whatsoever!

Cheers for the votes anyway! I'll try again for this year's Great Britain.
