Here's a couple I photographed while walking from Euston to Paddington. First one is outside Madame Tussauds, Marylebone Road.

The second is outside what used to be a post office on Lisson Grove, and as I was using an old AZ street atlas to make sure I found Paddington station, I saw a post office was marked nearby.

Found this one whilst walking in Essex on Wednesday. Rainham post office (Essex).

In 1974 the Post Office experimented with a similar rectangular design known as Type G. This was made in traditional cast iron by the foundry of Carron Company near Falkirk, Scotland. It was an operational success, but the public disliked the "square" designs and petitioned the Post Office for a return to cylindrical boxes.
