...no I don't think its that, and you have to remember I'm a puff lol ;) - just I dunno having been out on the "gay scene" it does come across a lot more unashamedly seedy - and sex obsessed...

Yeah, I get what you mean monkey. I have never been to 'the gay scene' in fact because I know it just wouldn't be my thing.

But, what I was trying to get at was, the 'gay scene' is really no different from the straight one. For all the gay clubs busting at the seems with horny young lads/ladies there's got to be at least 5 or more straight bars/clubs bursting at the seems with.. you got it.. straight young horny lads/ladies!

I don't go to clubs, ever, at all. My local pub tries to pretend it is a nightclub at 11pm and onwards and thats when I leave. :)

At the end of the day, you have to remember this is a railway forum. Whilst we don't mind things drifting a bit, if you want to go totally off topic and waffle away, you'll have to find somewhere else to do it.

As James posted on this thread somewhere, we're not all football and sex-obsessed people. Would much rather spend my time chasing trains than watch 22 fools chase a bag of air around. Interested in the females of the species, but I have no time for 'em. Maybe that'll change one day, don't care if it don't.

Point is not every straight person is obsessed with football or whatever the other stereotypical activity is for straight people. Seems so ironic that a gay chap can moan about people stereotyping his gender but then goes to do exactly the same about straight people...

I am aware I've gone a bit off-topic, my apologies but it had to be said.

My girlfriend has agreed to come spotting with me a couple times.

I didn't start becoming interested in anyone until I was 16. When I see folk these days of age 13 and 14 being 'interested' in the opposite/same sex it makes me go 'hmmm'.
