Possible West Coast rolling stock solutions once HS2 is in operation?

A quick (hopefully related) fleet question to AWC. When the HS2 rolling stock is eventually delivered, is this intended to be a Pendolino replacement or supplementary to the existing West Coast Main Line fleet? Although I’m sure a moving piece, what does the eventual fleet currently stand to look like. Is a Pendolino’s performance needed for example if non-HS2 services are slowed down?
