I’ve purchased quite a few tickets for travel with the Forums Partner.

Because of the uncertainty of early February travel, I booked a backup bus (which lets me reschedule at no cost if changed 24hr in advance). With less than a week to go, I’ve had no updates from Trainsplit on my most at risk trip which is now 1 week away.

Am I safe to assume that if there’s been no update by now, the LNER service on 8th will run as advertised? Or is there a minimum notification period of a change that I’m unaware of?

TIA

A full strike requires 14 days notice, so you're pretty safe.
That leaves cancellations because of crew shortage (overtime ban etc) which will be at much shorter notice.
I assume your journey is cross-border, so unless your schedule is very tight I wouldn't be over worried.

Thanks - it is indeed cross-border. Pragmatist that I am, I’ll hang on to the Plan B until £ days before - just in case! 8-)
