The other day Look North reported at RAF Typhoons from Coningsby investigated unidentified aircraft in Cypriot Airspace - so it seems the RAF are providing at least some part of Cyprus' air defences in the current circumstances.

Well I'd imagine as my feeling is that this is a result of the G20 meeting last week.

Question:

Was the decision by the US military to use white phosphorus in the Iraq war more or less immoral than the decision (whoever by) to fire nerve gas in Damascus?

That depends on whether you "win" or not :p

Have the Israelis ever been rebuked for some of the certain similar munitions that they have used in this region ?

I think that the UN has tried to 'rebuke' the Israelis but the US always use their veto in the Security council - they prevent any censure of Israel, and indeed any discussion about its actions against the Palestinians (including their use of white phosphorus in Gaza).
Interesting thought - if Syria gives up chemical weapons, will Israel do the same? (The answer to that is 'no')

Does this look rather similar to the Syria and Russia connection that America conveniently chooses to develop selective connectional amnesia about with their very pact with Israel when discussions ensue...."Do what I say, not what I do" seems to be an American edict.

Yes, I think that's about right!

The hidden Syrian agenda of the fundamentalist Muslim fighters came to the surface in the northern area of Syria as these factions suddenly turned their weapons on the fighters of the Free Syrian Army yesterday.

In Egypt, there are now gun battles between the Egyptian army and the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood.

--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

As an update to the posting above, the Al-Qaeda connected Islamic fundamentalists who attacked their supposedly allies of the Free Syrian army in the northern part of Syria now have taken command of some settlements in a "mini-Islamic caliphate" with full Sharia law now being introduced there.

They also now have full control of a major border post that sees charitable aid being brought into northern Syria.

Shall we see how matters now evolve in that northern part of Syria, as Israel already have the Islamic group of Hamas running the Gaza region to its west and will not be at all happy to see this new group in Syria. I wonder how Hizbollah feel about this latest incursion, as their own fighters were fighting alongside the Assad government troops recently. The Lebanese Christian factions will also be keeping a very close eye on the events in northern Syria now.

What complete double standards and irony from Hague yesterday having the nerve to heavily criticise the latest muslim atrocity in Kenya.

This is the same bloke who in the last few weeks has been itching to arm and help muslim terrorists in Syria.

Terrorists who every day are destroying churches and torturing and slaughtering Christians simply because they don't belong to the religion of peace.

It now seems to have turned into a three way battle:

3 #FSA fighters killed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (Al Qaeda) during clashes with the FSA in Hazano area, in Idleb country side. Negotiations for cease fire started with FSA pledging to protect every foreign and local journalist and humanitarian aid worker in #syria from both Assad and the extremists.
