Big apologies if this info is elsewhere.

Don't normally travel from Pmth to town.

Could someone let me know whether 444/450 is diagrammed for the SWR 0900 and 0916 tommorrow am.

As I'm travelling with the (disabled) other half I'd pay the premium and go with SWR to get the extra space and quietness in First if it's a 444, but if it's a 450 I might as well just go up with Southern and save the dosh. Presuming SWR still do weekend first.

Very many thanks.

I'm not sure I'm afraid, with the engineering work the diagrams are all different to usual. All services should be either a 12-car 450 or 10-car 444, but I don't know which is on either service.

You could try to find out by tweeting them to ask how many carriages the train has.

If that fails you could try posting here later tonight, or early in the morning.

Don't know if this will affect @GarethW 's journey at all:

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/173906.aspx

Due to a points failure within the depot between Strawberry Hill and Teddington some depot lines are blocked.

What's Going On:
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 09:00.

What South Western Railway Are Doing About It:

Due to a points failure at the depot between Strawberry Hill and Teddington, affecting South Western Railway's ability to send trains on the correct route, some lines from the depot towards Teddington are blocked.

Network Rail have deployed engineers to site to investigate the fault, when they update South Western Railway's control room we will be able provide more details. This will affect South Western Railway's ability to get trains out of the depot meaning that services may be altered or cancelled.

Thx all, on way to ferry now so will see what's what.

Had just about reconciled to going with SWR anyhow due to greater flexibility on the return journey......

...... 12 coach 450 hopefully not too rammed compared to 4 coach 377 on way up and suspect that the last two Southern Pmths from Victoria back are packed solid.
