Angel is focused on GB passenger stock, Porterbrook also does freight (which it has been rapidly expanding fairly quietly e.g. container wagons), some non-GB and depot facility financing.

Interesting link perhaps with the 769 work? Don't Porterbrook own them?
(Likely just rail enthusiast wibble, I know, but it would be useful for Porterbrook to own part of a rolling stock maintenance/overhaul company close to ScotRail depots - especially given the unreliability of the units.)

The Scotrail 158 and 170 fleets are all Porterbrook owned so keeping them in good condition as long as possible given electrification timescales will be important. The remaining number of non OEM overhaul facilities is now reached fairly critical levels so important to ensure the remaining ones have some stability.

769s are the sensible solution to the Scotrail capacity crunch on non IC7 routes for the next given similar capacity issues elsewhere.
