I’m on 13.34 Glasgow Central-Euston 390153, Friday 24th May, we approached Rugby about 2 mins early at line speed.
We had no Manchester-Euston service in front of us, as it was cancelled. A 6-minute late running Birmingham Euston service was let out from the flyover ahead of us, causing us to crawl approaching Rugby, making us about 2-3 mins late through Rugby.
We could have cleared Rugby before that train was off the flyover, and cost that train probably barely a minute.
To me, this just poor regulating and thinking.
