Bad my day was at that point. I was tired and fed up to boot. To basicly put it into laymans terms I think I was trying to say I am only human and will not be perfect all of the time...or something along those lines.
@Chrism
I just hope he gives credit to the member of staff that provided it rather then try to make himself and his website look better, you will be surprised how many people do that and alot of staff dislike it.
I can certainly assure you I dont go round trying to make my website better by not crediting people. 99% of the time the information is sent to me and the person does not want crediting.
As I stated in my post above on 26th March @ 11:29 PM
Its actually nice to receive thanks and Kudos from some staff and fitters at Bourenmouth T&RSMD who found out most of what was happening from my posts on my news pages, from my website that was then printed out and put on the mess room wall, to say I was humbled was an understatment and for once I was speechless.
I will state again that was totally unknown to me what was happening in the mess room at Bournemouth. When I was told I had goose bumps ..... I was kinda shocked when this chap told me.....
A couple of times I have had queries from people at Network Rail and SWT asking me where I got the information from. I wont disclose names if the person does not want me to. I always ask if the info they tell me can go on my website, "yes if you dont quote my name", comes the reply, with that I am happy. Not all my info comes from Railway staff either. A good 75% comes from outside the rail industry!!!
If someone sends me info I do my best to get another source to confirm. There is loads of photos I have been sent or information that has been recieved in my mailbox or by other means that I cannot / will not make public.
Now at the end of the day if people read it then they just have to take it at face value, because thats all I put it up there for.
@ Kris,
I had heard this as well about the single line being redoubled for 2010 (when the signalling work was being done, but apparently I have been told the money for the work from Poole (basicly thats where the new signalling starts) to Weymouth will be spent around the Southampton area.,
Cheers
