Poole to Cardiff Central

Good evening I'm wondering if anyone can help me.

I am travelling to Cardiff Central from Poole on 30th August and returning on the 1st September.

I need to be in Cardiff before 9pm on the 30th and will be leaving around tea time on the 1st.

The off peak return price is coming up at £52.10 each. There are 2 people travelling and no railcards are held.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There's an off peak return valid via Dorchester West for £45.80 each, if that's any good for you.

Trainscanbecheaper.info doesn't identify anything better than the via Dorchester West ticket.

The Freedom of Severn & Solent 3 in 7 Day Rover is £45 and would allow you to travel via Dorchester or via Southampton. You'd also get an extra day's travel if you fancy a day out.

Brilliant thank you for the replies. I think the Severn and Solent freedom ticket will be best bet as there isn't many trains on a sunday to Dorchester West from the Bristol area.

A great ticket, enjoy it whilst it lasts as they seem set on making it less appealing each year through price increases. It was only about 40 quid a year or so ago
