Details of new platform, loop, facilities and services.

Well its going to be a while before we see any further services introduced on the Valley lines network unlesss atw get additional stock.

Of course there could be a recast of various services which could free up a unit or two but there are many routes calling out for additional capacity the vale of glamorgan being a perfect example.

Hope the bay at Pontypridd is long enough to accommodate a six car emu looks like the Cardiff Bay one might squeeze in a Pacer from what I saw today.

Aparrently the bay will stretch to near the ticket office.
Theyve clipped off a fair chunk of the platform edge inwards...presumably for installing tactile paving and signalling / cis equipment.
Will be nice when its done I'm sure...
