It's not even that. The Circle services only run in the peaks now, so the west side stations only get the hourly Larkhalls off-peak.
I knew it was something like that (rather poor offerings to say the least and hardly likely to tempt folk out their cars), been outta the loop for a while hence my uncertainty.

A deliberate affectation to distinguish from Pollok FC ground, back when both shared adjacent premises. And it's Poloc Cricket Club with one "L" ;)
Thanks - edited to fix the spelling. Interesting history, I often wondered why their name had a 'c' rather than a 'k'.

I forget when exactly I found that out, but was a few years when someone pointed out the alternative spelling of the Cricket Club to me.
