Hi all,

Can anyone point me towards either a website or an app that will allow me to check Polish train fares and book advanced tickets? I've been using DB Navigator for times, but it says that fares are not available.

Cheers!

The PKP website www.pkp.pl will give you normal fares if you use the journey planner. (http://rozklad-pkp.pl/?q=en/node/143) Enter your journey and there should be an option for fares. (Note it will tell you the price but not sell you the ticket) By normal fare, I mean buying a ticket on the day and as the fares are mileage-based this is straight-forward. For most journeys in Poland, including long-distance ones, this is all you need. Simply book your ticket at the ticket office on the day or in advance if you prefer.

However, there are now some Advance tickets available. You can book them here https://bilet.intercity.pl/irez/ I have never used this before so can't comment on how good it is! Tickets go on sale in Poland 60 days in advance.
