I'm surprised no one has ever been hit in Manchester City Centre, I've witnessed countless near-misses, there must be thousands of near misses every year in Manchester.

Theres been one fatal hit, someone ran in front of tram at Piccadilly Gardens stop without looking. Happens quite regularly on the Croydon system.

Trams need much louder horns than they have at the moment, especially when you consider the headphone brigade wandering blindly about all over the street tracks.

Okay. I laughed too.

Especially as there is a mythical.... well, mad-as-a-box-of-frogs character from south Manchester known to many as the Chorlton Wizard who frequents the transport network.

Not funny at all in my opinion. Causing a delay to passengers and now the driver's schedule goes out the window.
Too bad there were no police officers in the area.
