Does anyone know if the Network Rail HST is running tomorrow to Plymouth and will there be any DRS trains to Dockyard as well tomorrow?

NMT (NR HST) not running today. As for the other traffic you mention I don't think that given the sensitive nature of this, this forum is the right place to discuss it.

Not having a go at you DVT 82305 but as this forum is available for all to see you never know who is looking at it.

This type of traffic and Royal train moves in my opinion should not be discussed on any forums certainly not until after the event has taken place.

What do other people think?

Umm, to be honest with you, nonsense! There is no way that you can stop people posting info that might otherwise be seen as 'sensitive'. There is no harm in asking a question about it whether you find an answer or not! If the info that was being posted caused any real issues of national security, the ‘mods’ would soon get rid I’m sure! It’s our choice to talk about these things; after all it affects us, as for who is reading over the forums, not MY problem! I’ll post what I like, within reason, and the moderators can choose whether it’s appropriate or not.

Just my opinion, not a rant!

Thanks

I am saying be careful and think before you post, the 'mods' can't pick up everything as soon as it is posted & before it gets in the public domain.

I'm just suggesting it might not be a good idea to post specific details about certain trains, general questions fine, timings and routes etc maybe not a good idea.

Maybe I'm being alarmist but I'm pretty sure the MoD & certain FOC's don't want details of certain workings posted on here.

I'm as enthusiastic as everyone and want to see special workings however
the workings are kept quiet to non-essential rail staff for a reason.

I'll say no more on the subject.

I lean towards this side of things, surely if someone here knows (and aren't a railway professional) it can hardly be especially hard information to find.

I think the Nukes and MoD stuff has passed security stage now. You can go on Freightmaster for timings and such like, or join a free Yahoo group that will tell you what tractor is allocated to tomorrows Bridgwater Flasks, or what shed is off to Ashchurch MoD vehicle servicing point etc.
