Plusbus with mticket

Before I embarrass myself on the train, does anyone know if I can buy a paper Plusbus ticket to accompany an electronic ticket stored only on my phone?

The Plusbus website only refers to a "valid train ticket", not the medium.

I'll be travelling with Arriva Trains Wales, but I suspect the question is more generally applicable, given the way that these kinds of tickets seem to be multiplying.

Yes you can purchase a plus bus ticket with any valid railway ticket wether it be electronic or paper based.

So long as the Origin or Destination matches the desired Plusbus town/city - although that said I've never had trouble getting Plusbus for an interim station issued either.
