Plusbus ticket on a ranger/rover (Northern)

This has been asked before but not sure if things have changed

If I have a £10 Northern day ranger, am I right in thinking I can only get a Plusbus for the origin but not for the destination (because it is not specified on the ranger?). Thanks

I had a northern ranger before valid from blackburn but got a plusbus for blackpool ( my destination )

Officially this tends to be the interpretation but it never hurts to ask.

I really don’t see the problem as if you buy a return websites offer you the choice of a plus bus option at both origin and destination and imo rangers should be treated as equally as a return
