Plug socket trains within travelcard zones?

Hi Guys

Bit of a random one, I know service you can use within the London travelcard zones run by 377/5s/6s/7s, 450s (Declassified first ONLY), and 379s,etc.

Does anyone know any other trains/services with safe plug sockets between travelcard destinations?

At the risk of helping you fry your laptop it must be said that these cleaners sockets you see GENERALLY are safe to use. My phone charger can operate from 100 volts upto 415 and has never fried (touch wood it never will). But check what voltage range your devices charger can take.

377/7s from South Croydon/East Croydon/Clapham Junction as far as Harrow & Wealdstone or Watford Junction depending on travelcard validity. Beware, some Southern services sauntering around on MKC services are still 377/2s and the service can be cancelled/cut back depending on engineering works.

1 standard class coach in the 444s seem to have plugs at the tables. Think it is the driving coach if I remember right. Not a huge amount of 444s to get on a travelcard though.

On 444s sockets can be found in the standard class vehicle at the opposite end to the first class vehicle at every table in that carriage (as well as first class itself obviously!).

The High Capacity 450s also have plug sockets if you sit in the section that used to be First class I think I've heard though that these units are to have First class reinstated.

All the 450/5s have had First Class reinstated for a while now. 450s working services on the Windsor lines (apart from Reading trains) have First Class declassified though so you can still use the sockets.

There must be some trains between Stratford & Liverpool St that have power sockets, surely? (even if only in 1st class, and perhaps only in the Up direction).

Also Greater Anglia's Stansted Express Tottenham Hale - Liverpool Street? (also possibly only in 1st class)

I'm surprised that GA's MK3 sets don't have them at all, even though Wifi is available, same goes to the 360s!

One can use these trains up to Cheshunt too now on an appropriately zoned travelcard, although I take the inevitable point that Cheshunt isn't within the traditional six zones (it's in 8).
