Hi all,
I have woken up to find my application for the above post has been shortlisted. The role is with East Midlands Trains and based in Nottingham. The interview date is for 29th January if I get through the rest of the stages..

I understand the next stage will be a video interview. I must admit, I'm not looking forward to this bit, I don't like being filmed and don't even facetime/video call annyone Any tips to make this a pleasant experience?

I guess I'm after some good advice for the entire process. I previously got shortlisted for this role but withdrew before assessment and video interview when an ex colleague literally begged me to work for them as a deputy manager. Biggest mistake I have ever made, even with now being the manager myself. I now regret agreeing to work for them and really regret not proceeding with my previous application as platform assistant. So any and all advice will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

I have recently gone through the process with EMR. When you get the email with the video details, there is a space on that website where you can practice. I practiced for about 3 days before doing the “proper” one, which really helped. Make sure you are very well informed about the position and the company as I was asked about both of those. Good luck!

Thank you amanda08. Good to know there's the chance to practice before doing the real thing. I shall definitely brush up on the background information as well. Many thanks!
