Platform 3 Hartlepool.

The reinstated new platform 3 came into use yesterday, coinciding with some slight delays between Hartlepool and Seaton Carew for services leaving from it.

This morning GC's 1A61 appears to have lost 30+ minutes at Hartlepool in platform 3...is there a problem with points or signals after using this platform?

It was caused by some sort of fault with the train.

On Sunday trains were running down the loop line on leaving Hartlepool towards Seaton Carew. Certainly a very rare piece of track!
