Platform 2 Nuneaton Around 0631

hi all, saw a unit fly through nuneaton at 0631/0632 iit was an emu in all white, possibly a 379? can anyone confirm this, and if so. where was it going?

Probably a 379, they are doing milage accumulation. They wander up and down the WCML most of the day.

379005+379006 been doing multiple runs between Crewe and Rugby yesterday and today. They would be what you saw.

Just out of curiosity what is the purpose of mileage accumulation? Do all new units have to do it or just the first few of a new class?

i think it's to see if they devlop any faults, indeed i saw the 379's in the bays at crewe plat 7, at 0725, and guys from bombardier with computers and equipment sat on the train..
