Planning a Class 197 (CAF Civity) journey from Shrewsbury

I fancy trying one the 197's next week to see if they're any better than the uncomfortable 196's. Question, are there any passing through Shrewsbury that are permanently diagrammed for a 197 or is it just a case of wait and see? Any help much appreciated.

Almost all Manchester Carmarthens are 197. The 150s that appear on the line these days are usually covering MK4s, not 197s. Combined with almost all Cardiff Holyheads being a 197, I reckon you won’t have to wait long at Shrewsbury at all for one.
