Does anyone know if there is a way to find out if there are any closures on the ECML, WCML and the West Highland line this summer, specifically the week beginning 8th July.
I am looking at travelling from Euston to Fort William and then across to Aberdeen and then from Aberdeen down to Kings Cross later in the week. The reason I am asking this far in advanced is that the advanced tickets from where I live to London are already on sale and I don't wan't them to sell out but I also don't want to book them and find out that I can not do the rest of my journey on this week.
Thanks

The eastern end of the Aberdeen to Inverness line will be closed for pretty much complete reconstruction during that period, so you'll be bustituted at least between Aberdeen and Inverurie - possibly further west.

Don't book until the whole lot is released.

Also, if practicable I would buy all tickets from the same retailer in the same transaction. If subsequent timetable changes occur which make your journey no longer viable, it may be easier to arrange for the retailer to refund the whole lot.

I do not think this will affect me as my journey across Scotland will be from Fort William to Glasgow Queen Street and then Queen Street to Aberdeen so I do not plan to use this line.
Does this mean that any services which go through Aberdeen may be re timed or will they run at the same time terminating at Aberdeen?

That much I don't know. I'd assume that they'd run to normal timetable south of Aberdeen but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.

Does anyone know why on National Rail when I search for the day I want it says that it is an unconfirmed timetable but when I click on this for more details and select the ScotRail it says:
From Sunday to Friday, we can confirm that the timetable will be running as shown in the journey planner.
http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/servi...8.1614245062.1556442557-1044593639.1554029860
If this is the case why on the day is it still saying that it is an unconfirmed timetable, it is either confirmed or it isn't.
I have checked the future engineering works page as well and there is nothing which will affect my journey as even though there is work at Glasgow Queen Street it is not going to affect the services that I am getting.
Thanks

What journey are you making exactly?

I plan on taking the Highland Sleeper to Fort William on the 9th July.
Then on the 10th coming back to Glasgow on the on the 11:40 going to Aberdeen later in the day (not sure exactly what time yet) and finally on the 11th Aberdeen to London on the 07:52 LNER service.
