im going for untrrview soon for picop job and been told its a mix of HR and practical questions any pointers would be greatly appreciated

I’d imagine you need to keep safety and communication skills at the forefront of any answers, examples of working as part of a team and on your own, what you would do if you thought someone was acting in an unsafe manner, demonstrate the ability to follow rules and maybe complete paperwork. No idea as I don’t work in the grade but hope this helps.
