There isn't really any way they could do that other than by not stopping the train, the penalties that could be applied are financial. But more likely the barrier check will just stop you boarding. A gateline wouldn't refuse the ticket, but Euston only has gatelines on platforms 1-3 and 8-11, and VT only use the former, so the chance of getting a platform with an automatic gateline is low.

Penalty Fares are not applicable because VTWC is not a Penalty Fare TOC. If it was an LNR train that had the restriction one might well be issued.

Yes, totally. Yet flouting the rules is frowned upon, cos those the rules. It's a pick-up only station, and the rule is you can't get off! Although there is no legal backing for that rule. The argument then falls back to, 'if everybody did, then where would we be?'

It is a completely valid argument given the purpose of the restriction and what you are doing, like many commuters, is being extremely selfish.

The train company is entitled to deny passengers entry to the train, if their journey is Euston to Milton Keynes, and the train does not call at Milton Keynes for the purpose of alighting.
