My first post on this site, be gentle in case I've made a faux pas or three...

First off what is a Photter, for those that didn't know, like me? Apparently it is the new name for train/bus/aviation spotters that take pictures. Spotters log vehicle numbers. And apparently there is another term for people that enjoy being a passenger in such transport.

Anyway I've been doing a bit of googling and found the following resources for train photting:

http://www.trainspots.co.uk for photography locations.
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk for finding out what is going to be passing through your location.
http://www.opentraintimes.com a bit geeky (geekier?) but show live signalling etc and where trains are.
http://raildar.co.uk/radar google maps with live trains, a bit like flightradar.
Does anyone have more links? I love trainspots but I think it doesn't have a massive database of photographic locations. For example I see no sidings listed and I'm sure there must be some near me.
