Hopefully going along to kings x tomorrow to phot scots grey on the charter, can i expect much hassle from the station staff?and will i need a platform ticket?its been a few years since i've been to kings x just to phot, cheers
When charters are in staff shouldnt cause any problems especialy with more than 50 enthusiasts photographing the same thing. and no you wont need platform tickets. they will keep the gates open.
Charters tend to go from Platform 1, although I'm not sure if that is the case now that Platform 0 is open. I tend to use P4 or P8, because they both give reasonable views across the station throat and into the tunnels. However, P2 can give decent closer views (going to P1 itself is pointless, unless you want lots of views of other people crowding around and nothing below platform level).
