I do this sort of thing in trainz - its called reskinning!
I've put LM livery on a 222 and a pacer! It looks quite good actually.

Imagine Pretendolino livery on a PPM (class 139)!

Unfortunately, your own intended electronic repaint would be a fair bit more difficult, since there's no existing application of the Virgin livery on a Class 150, or anything similar enough to make a livery graft straightforward. I'm sure you could make good progress taking various sections from a Virgin coach though - particularly if the original livery on your Class 150 was similar to the Virgin livery around the window areas.

Don't be put off if things don't drop into place straight away. It takes a fair bit of practice and the first attempt could take hours even to look passable. But once you've nailed the technique it's kind of like riding a bike... All the best with it.

What Im trying to do is get a 150 in plain blue/White livery. And put a sonic logo on it.
