[Photos] Snow, what was it like?

Hey,

Today as all of you may or may not know, but it snowed!? Indeed it did, I managed to get some quick photos before one went off to school (Being all that far of 0.00 seconds away from me)

Apprantly there was some snow settling in stokje dennis, although thats not west mids for me.

My sister texted me at 0521am (waking me up in the process, tart ), to say it was snowing, but considering my personal alarm clock known as a certain female forgot to wake me up I missed out on the snow as it had all melted by the time I got up, which, if anyone's interested, was around 3pm :mrgreen:

No snow in Southampton and up to Salisbury, although yesterday am at 5.15 when I drove my daughter to work in Salisbury it was sleet or rain. Mostly rain!

When I was at Uni in Bristol 1976-77 it snowed in January and being blinking hilly cars couldn't get up the hills. The HSTs ran throughout flawlessly though.

I do indeed, 2003 methinks and it was on a Thursday, I remember being in Year 6 thinking ah its just a dusting 5 mins later its like the Arctic Then on the bus home, the bus when turning out from a bus stop skidded into the actual bus stop causing a rather big dent in the side of the Dennis Dart

Hmm one way to kill dennis darts, i wonder if it has the same effects on So slows or solos as they are better known, mihgt have to try this one get some ice from my freezer lol!

They are crap buses to drive - its quicker to walk then drive one of them.....though this is an M reg one Im talking, the J reg ones are only slightly quicker....
