I am about to launch a new online rail ticketing website
The service has been trialled successfully through RailBritain.com for last 3 months

However, I am looking for some good quality up-to-date passenger train photos to use throughout the website
Where photos are used, the copyright will remain with the photographer along with a disclaimer
A small payment will be made, based on the usage of each photo, either by PayPal, Amazon Voucher or Rail Travel Voucher

As an example :
2586.jpg

Photos will fall into three categories :
Scenic
Lineside (and includes within stations and at platforms)
Profile (includes interior and features)

Photos can be sent in any format, dimension and file size, although at least 800 x 600 is preferred
Photos need not be recent, but should be relevant to passenger trains in current operation

In the first instance, please contact via PM

Apologies, missed this out..

I have permission to use any and all images and logos from all the passenger TOCs, except SWT
As a former Director at Stagecoach South I have a slightly different contract with them (anti-competitive clause which lasts for 50 years)
I need to submit any photos of SWT to them for approval first, and the process takes about 10 working days

Again, though, please contact via PM first
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
I've been overwhelmed at the response so far
From what I have seen, so far, the standard is very high
For anyone that is worried about the impact the restriction enforced by SWT may have, please don't be worried
The process is quite is simple

I now have plenty to chose from and no longer need photos specific to :
First Great Western (HST)
GNER (HST)
SWT

Photos will be rotated / updated regularly so there is plenty of scope for more photos to be included
Remember most will be used to help general members of the public when travelling, so you may need to think "out of the box"
Think about some of the journeys you have made
Was the station easy to identify?
Is there any short-term parking and/or drop-off area?
Where is the TAXI rank?
Where is the nearest Bus Stop / Bus Station?
Where was the Travel Centre located?
Did the station have a main concourse and shopping area?
Did the station have automatic ticket barriers?
Where were the FastTicket machines located?

I will be making a decision after this weekend, on which initial photos will be used
The website will launch just in time for the December reservations

Yes, I've got loads to deal with and visit
As above, I'm going to give it to the weekend, then revisit all the links provided and make a decision from there

Ideally, please provide a link to your online photo collection in the PM
