Anyone pitching up at Kings Cross and hoping to take shots from the end of platform 8 should be aware that this platform has now been closed to the public (and to trains) because of the refurbishment work. You could probably still access the very end by going through the barriers on platform 9 - but you're going to need a ticket unless you want to sign in/convince the barrier staff to let you through.

Not a problem. Anyway platforms 0/1 and 6/7 I think are the best for photos and videos:)
