Photobucket help with free storage

Having posted about FlickR restricting free storage . I have a message saying photobucket are restricting from 9 Jan .
I have a free account with about 6500 photos and 60 videos , 28 per cent of my limit
Almost all my Flickr stuff is also on photobucket . I have my laptop hard disk backed up in addition
I found in the depths of photobucket that apparently my photos are well within the new storage limit .
Can anyone confirm , my doubt is that Flickr only allow 1000 !!

You could open a Google account and use the "Drive" which is 15GBb free space.

I read through the Flickr and Photobucket thread elsewhere and wondered why people upload so much to a free service, then get annoyed when it starts restricting use / charging for use.
I mean... it's free. You can't expect anything that is free to last forever.

exactly! Buy a pro account. There is 15% off until 8th January. If it is too much money ( and it might be) buy an external hard drive and only display the absolute best pictures on the free service.
