Looks like a person has been hit by a train on the ECML today. I think it could be the 1V54 0632 Dundee to Plymouth. Looking at RTT the incident appears to have occured near Darlington but I'm not sure if 1V54 was the train involved. Anyone know anymore about the situation?

Thoughts with the driver and all involved in the incident.

Elderly gent stepped out in front of 1S33 at the South end of Croft viaduct, line closed 1000 til 1145 with trains turning round at Darlington and York. First few trains southbound from Darlington unable to pick up stranded passengers as already full so backlog not cleared til aprox 1330.

One at Southall (GWML) as well now, air ambulance reported to be in attendance :( All lines closed
